- Plan, direct, and control day-to-day production activities in order to safely and efficiently execute production schedules.
- Analyse and enhance production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput. Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
- Understands key Health, Safety and Environmental parameters including reactive chemical concerns and process safety requirements.
- Develop, monitor and control production monitoring and planning tools. Develop actual vs standard production reporting to drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate raw material needs with Site Manager and Logistics Coordinator.
- Manage cross training and qualification standards of personnel for coverage in production.
- Schedule and prioritise site activities to ensure minimal impact on production and operations.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures. Prepare regular drills and ensure readiness for various emergency scenarios.
- Encourage facility safety rules (Near miss, root cause analysis, etc.) in order to secure safety environments.
- Take action to resolve gaps between performance and goals and be capable of completing small improvement projects when required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Develop and implement a MOC reporting system and manage customer/internal Non Conformities.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis on safety or quality related events
- Creates and updates documentation including learning resources and Standard Operating Procedures for the plant. Provides knowledge transfer to the operators and ensures it is being used.
Required Qualification:
- Engineer Bachelor’s degree
- Ideally an experience on Electronics BL site
- Knowledge of packaged gases: filling tools, assets
- Consistent, structured, analytical and resilient
- Ability to plan, build from scratch a plan and implement it
